GASP Groups Against Stadium Proposals fights destruction of Historical Air Park

What can I do?

Anything you can do to slow down proceedings is worthwhile

There's no point us giving you a template for your correspondence as it will simply be ignored. Here's a few ideas, though. A good letter:

  • Is courteous.
  • Is 1-1.5 pages at most
  • Says who you are, why you are writing now and what you would like done.

For example:

Dear Councillor / Mr MP

What do you want to tell him/her about, ie. proposed new stadium development at Wycombe Air Park Booker, Nr High Wycombe

Who are you, where do you live, for how long, where in relation to the proposed development

What is it in particular that is annoying you? (eg. building on the Green Belt in defiance of own party policy, money spent by WDC in these straitened times, risky financial investment without a business plan, lack of transparency by WDC, being held to ransom by the owner of WWFC and London Wasps - choose your pick!)

Tell him/her you support GASP

Tell him/her what you would like him to do.

Yours etc

Please don't be disheartened as this is NOT a done deal yet.
With your support this can be defeated!

Please check back here frequently as we give you updates on what we believe you can do.
